Lancaster 2, CityBlock’s second student accommodation development, was acquired in 2003 and completed later that year.

Formerly a semi-derelict site, the building went on to feature a mixture of cluster flats and studios, housing 77 students in the heart of Lancaster’s City Centre. The ground floor retail units were let to Cartridge World and Subway.

Following a part-asset sale of the building to Empiric in 2015, CityBlock retained management of the building until June 2017.
