Late in 2017, CityBlock acquired 41-42 Caroline Street, Birmingham – a designated derelict building in the city’s popular Jewellery Quarter. Set to be redeveloped into apartments, Caroline Street is CityBlock’s latest venture in the residential property market.

Located just outside Birmingham’s city centre, the Jewellery Quarter is an attractive mix of narrow streets, fine architecture and listed buildings.

At 9,841 sq ft and set across three floors with a ground floor courtyard, the former pair of joined townhouses will see CityBlock utilise its extensive experience to create high-quality, boutique, apartments for sale.

A sensitive conversion of the Grade II listed building, built circa 1825, will see an extension added to the rear of the property, to deliver 9 unique apartments. To the front of the building, the Georgian character will be utilised to create carefully designed apartments in keeping with local heritage.

Completion of this development is expected in December 2021.
